Following on from the success of the phase one project, Studio KHid were appointed to undertake the redesign of phase two, this time accommodating teenagers.

The brief was consistant with the pre-teen spaces: to create an interactive beach themed space, to provide young patients with a positive and playful experience during their hospital visit. The challenge lay this time in creating a complimentary space with clear connections while remaining age appropriate. We achieved this by replicating the colour palette and adding to the key graphical and bespoke joinery elements in more sophisticated application. A visit to a surf shack the narrative, realised by the use of wall graphics, bespoke palm tree and surfboard joinery and feature sky scene lights above.
